Polaroid is a pioneering instant photography brand with a cult following of professional and amateur creators.
They recently launched a new category of products and services including music players and radio stations, which is a bold leap forward for the brand to reach new consumer groups.
We have collaborated closely with Polaroid's design team, Chief Design Officer, Ignacio Germade and Director of Product Design, Nick Woodley to create the identity and packaging for the new Polaroid Music Players.
This included developing a modular structural and graphical packaging system as well as the Quick Start Guide design for different product models.
The aim was to achieve a considered user experience, a suitable product protection avoiding any unnecessary use of plastic or lamination, and overall branding coherence.
